KENT, Richard Henry 'Dick'

Passed away peacefully at his home in Richards Landing on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of 55 years to Aleen Kent (nee Johnstone). Loving father of Rick and Colleen (Mark). Proud grandfather of Chelsey (Jordan), Brandon, Sarah (Jarrett); great-grandfather of Isaac, Nathalie, William, Evelyn and Valarey. 

Dear brother Joan (Bert), late Bill (Diana), late Sally (late Bill), Rob (Brenda), Graham (Sherrie), Jayne (John) and John (Barb); brother-in-law of Ed Johnstone (Kathy) and George Johnstone (Louise). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
 
As an avid fisherman and hunter, Dick received great enjoyment from teaching his children and grandchildren how to fish at Sheldon Lake. Or he could be found at "Good enough" his home away from home. He took pride in his work as a Class A Auto Mechanic.

Family and friends are invited for visitation at the Free Methodist Church, St. Joseph Island (COVID restrictions, masks are required, 120 maximum number of people) on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:40 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Free Methodist Church at 3:00 p.m., Pastor Bryan Windle officiating. For those who wish, when parked in the church parking lot you may listen to the funeral service on your radio, tune to 91.1 FM. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations made payable by cheque or online to NSHN AUX - Matthews Site or ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
