It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts we announce Gordon’s passing on August 3, 2024 at the age of 79 after a valiant battle with Parkinson’s disease.
He leaves behind his devoted wife Viola of 55 years. Cherished Dad of Michael (Maureen), Jennifer (Tim) Hartleib, and Andrew (Christine). Proud Grandpa and Papa of Lauren, Natalie, Ryan, Anna, Jack, Alden, Ainsley, Cole, and Mikaela. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Gordon retired from the Sault Ste. Marie Ambulance Service after 35 years of dedicated service. He was a friendly and outgoing person who loved to share stories, laughs and good times with family and friends.
Donations in memory of Gordon may be made to the Parkinson Society of Southwestern Ontario. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial visiting will be held at Families First Funeral Home (3260 Dougall Ave. Windsor 519-969-5841) on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 4 – 7 pm.
