Passed away on July 18, 2023. Son of Reijo and Tarja, brother of Matias, Minttu (John Conway), and Viliam, and grandson of Salli Kamula. Joonas was a gifted musician, lyricist, writer, drawer, and painter. He was love, kindness, positivity, and warmth in the world. With his golden-heart, Joonas filled the room with laughter, showered others with compliments, and gave a universal friendship to all. Although we will forever feel his loss, from here to Finland to Ohio, we ask that you honor Joonas’ memory by spreading a selfless love onto others and of most importance, a love unto yourself—for that would be his wish.
A private service will be held for Joonas with a celebration of life to follow at a later date.
