Passed away peacefully with his family at his side at the General Hospital on Saturday, February 19, 2005 at the age of 71. Loving hubby of Maureen – companion on their journey. Dad to Mary Johnstone and her husband Jim Chen, Lori Rossi, Fil Rossi, Beckie Johnstone, Bill Johnstone and his wife Kathryn. Dear Papa of Joshua, Matthew and Molly. Son of the late Molly and Bill Johnstone and predeceased by his uncle Norman Johnstone and aunts Hilda Chadwick and Evelyn Drew. Cousin to Doreen Maluish and Norman Drew. Brother-in-law to Jack & Mildred Mertes, Peg and Tom Flanagan, Jim Gowan, Tim & Bonnie Gowan and Michael & Denise Gowan. He will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Bill was a proud supporter of the Canadian Heritage Bushplane Museum and an avid Soo Greyhound fan.
