December 5, 1936 - August 27, 2022 - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother peacefully at her home.
Daughter to the late Annie and Thomas Swystun. Dear sister to Joe (Margaret), Rita (late Walter) and Bill (Karen). Proud mother of Donald (Sherry), Laureen Bruni, Karen and Lynda Hachey (Marc). Grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many.
Friends and family are invited to visit Emmanuel United Church (224 Bennett Blvd) on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am with Rev. Nancy Ferguson Officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal would be greatly appreciated by the family.
