JENSEN, David 'Dave when not in trouble'

Peacefully passed at ARCH Hospice on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in his 69 th year.

Loving spouse of Tara Hart. Father of Jordan Jensen (Heidi), Daniel Jensen and stepfather to Matthew and Joshua Hart (Kaila), Sophia Martin-Vogt (Shannin). Grandfather of Madison, Kingston, Elijah and Owen Jensen and Jordan Hart. Great Uncle to Calen Jensen.

Son of Beatrice and the late Hans Jensen. Brother of Ross (late Bea) and Jerry (Cathy).

Uncle to Ross Jr. (Katrina) and James Albert.

In Dave’s words, he has ‘moved on to the next project, no goodbyes, just see you later’. This part of his journey came to an end peacefully and without any regrets after a long struggle with illness. Over the last several months, many good stories were recounted from his 45 year career as an electrician, supervisor and business owner. He was able to ‘travel the world on someone else’s dime’, making many friends amongst his respected colleagues and helped to elevate many apprentices and young workers. He very proudly served his home communities of Blind River as a volunteer firefighter and White River supporting many community events and organizations. Mine Rescue and promoting working safely were always at the forefront of his decisions, even outside actively working for various mines.

The family would like to thank family and friends, Wawa Family Health Team, Dr.’s Breton, Berg , Stamler, Booth, Y i , Northern Respiratory, the Sault Area Hospital 3C nurses and the staff and volunteers at ARCH Hospice for all the care given to David. This journey has been exceptional.

A memorial will take place in the Summer of 2025.
