JEANVEAU, Michel Robert

In Loving Memory of Michel Jeanveau.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michel, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend. Michel peacefully departed this world on Friday, December 15, 2023, at the age of 63, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. His passing leaves a void in our lives, but his memory will forever be cherished.

Born on September 24, 1960, in Sudbury Ontario, Michel was the son of Edgar Jeanveau and Laurette Jeanveau (nee Giroux). He grew up alongside his two loving brothers, Claude and Gilles, forming a bond that would last a lifetime.

While Michel may not have had a spouse or children of his own, his family was his greatest joy. Michel's nieces, Michelle and Danielle held a special place in his heart. He took great pride in watching them grow into the remarkable women they are today. His great niece and great nephew, Charlotte and Zachary, brought him immense joy and laughter, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Michel's battle with pancreatic cancer was a testament to his strength and resilience. Throughout his illness, he faced each day with courage and determination, never losing his sense of humor or his love for life. His unwavering spirit inspired all who knew him, and his memory will continue to inspire us to live each day to the fullest.

In his free time, Michel enjoyed cooking. He had a thirst for knowledge and was always eager to learn something new. He had a kind and generous heart, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Michel's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Michel would like to thank his brother Claude and wife Annie, as well as his nurse practitioner Natalie Nurse Lisa and the team:

“Please know that your kindness and support will never be forgotten. Your selflessness and dedication made a profound impact on my life, and I am eternally grateful for your presence during my final months. Your acts of love and compassion will always hold a special place in my heart.”

At Michel’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will e announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Visit www.osullivanfuneralhome.com to leave memories or condolences for the family. Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home (215 St. James St., Sault Ste. Marie, ON, P6A 1P7, 705-759-9456).

Michel Jeanveau will forever be remembered as a loving brother, uncle, and friend. His legacy of strength, kindness, and resilience will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
