Linette (Lee) Janveau died peacefully with her loving and devoted husband Gerald by her side on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at age 87. Loving mother to David (Natasha). Incredibly proud grandmother of Alyssa and Renee. Lee leaves behind her sister Carmen (late Walter) Dowhaniuk. Sister-in-law of Germaine, late Romeo (Anita), Don (Jean), Ed (late Patricia), Mel (Eva), Ken (Julia), Brenda (late John) Nesom, Jack (Constance), and Brian (late Mary). She was predeceased by her parents Francis and Aurore Landreville, sister Muriel (late Bernard) Carbonneau, and her brother Claude (Diane) Landreville. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Lee grew up in Northern Ontario and enjoyed curling, square dancing, and volunteering. She was an avid reader and loved to listen to music.
Friends and family are invited to a funeral mass Monday, February 28, 2022 at 11:00am at St. Jerome Parish (26 Carmel Road, Sault Ste Marie, ON). Following the mass there will be a reception at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (215 St James Street, Sault Ste Marie, ON).
Due to covid-19 restrictions, proof of double vaccination will be required to attend both the mass and reception, face coverings must be worn and physical distancing will be adhered to.
