Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, July 26, 2019 at the age of 80.
Devoted husband and bestfriend of Barbara. Loving father of Christina Ableson (Jeff) and Lori Jalak Greco (Jeff).
Adored grandpa of Madeline, Jordan and Kale Ableson & Tyler and Luukas Greco.
Predeceased by his parents Oskar and Melania Jalak. Dear brother of late Valve Meerits (late Alfred), late Eldur Jalak (late Nuala), late Heino Jalak (late Betty) and Elvie Thurson (late Warren). Son-in-law of the late Arnold and late Helen Running.
Brother-in-law of Joan & Ron Milton and the late Heather Williamson.
Arvo will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and especially by his furry friends. Cremation has taken place, a gathering for family and friends to be announced at a later date.
Memorial donations to the SAH Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
