Peacefully at home on Saturday January 27, 2018 at the age of 83 with his devoted wife at his side. Loving husband of Carol for 57 years. He cherished his four girls, Lori Aubrey (late Tom), Kim Nash (Dave), Tammy Jacobson and Cindy Joseph (Murray). Proud papa of Erin Hojnoski (Drew), T.J. Aubrey (Michelle), Krysia Jacobson-Laliberte (Richard), Elizabeth Down (Gideon), Sean Nash (Paige), Jacob Rouse (Sheena), Megan Bukowski, Kasondra Delarosbil (Taylor), Muranda Joseph (Stéphane) and Murray Joseph (Emalee). Also papa of his great grand children, Kaiden, Rilea, Thomas, Cassie, Cole Lawrence Jacobson Laliberte, Maya Laliberte, Carter, Brooklyn, Tanner, Cody, Sierra, Melina, Murray, Dean and Tommy. Dear brother of Carl Jacobson (Lynn), late Lorraine Patterson (late Gary), and Ann Anderson (late Richard) all of Winnipeg. Best friend of John McCauley (Shirley) and Robbie Routledge (Judy). Brother-in-law of Roween Zielinski. Also missed by his nieces and nephews. Lorn was a devoted family man, a fanatic fisherman, hunter, trapper and outdoorsman who was respected by all. As per Lorn's wishes, no services will be held. Memorial contributions to the Goulais River Fire and Rescue would be greatly appreciated.
