After a long and courageous battle it is with deep sadness that her daughters Marla Johnston (Keith) and Kim Greco (Peter) announce Nona’s passing at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Saturday, July 18, 2009. Wife of the late George (1975). Daughter of the late Mildred Reid. Step-daughter of the late Gordon Torrance. Sister of Bob Torrance (Mary Jane). Cherished and loved grandmother of Ryan (Crystal), Aaron (Brooke) and Lauren (Dan). Special Great Gramma Noma to Madison and Mya. Sister-in-law to the late Gladys Isaacson, Dorothy Springall (Penny), Nils Isaacson (Marg), the late Hal Isaacson (Marilyn), Len Isaacson (Tawny), Mary Shelbourne (Jack) and Linda Isaacson (Mark). In keeping with Mom’s wishes, cremation and a private family service was held. Memorial donations made to A.R.C.H. would be appreciated by the family. We would like to thank Dr. Kobelka, Dr. Reich, Dr. Keith, Dr. Buehner and the wonderful staff at A.R.C.H. where mom spent her last few months receiving the care and dignity she so well deserved.
