Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, August 17, 2020 at the age of 93. Devoted husband and lifetime love of Assunta (Greco) for 64 years. Beloved and cherished father of Silvana Casola (Robert), Marisa Stefano (Frank) and Rose Rosa (Orlando). Proud and adored Nono of Paul (Christine), Matthew, Sarah (Dan) and Adriano. Beloved brother of Michele (late Luisa), Erbina Bernardo (late Giovanni), Adelina Iacoe (late Pietro), Esterina Iacoe (late Gennaro), Maria Iacoe (late Giovanni).
Predeceased by his parents Enrico and Maria Iacoe, and siblings Pasquale (Adeline), Rosina Fiore (Vincenzo), Carmella Giunti (Antonio), Emilio (Annetta). Son-in-law of the late Giuseppe and Lauretta Greco. Much loved brother-in-law of Rosario Greco (Louise), Mario Greco and Lucy Gagliardi (Francesco). Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Orlando was an avid gardener who enjoyed cooking Italian cuisine with his family. He will be fondly remembered for his kind and gentle nature. Due to the pandemic a private family service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020. The public is invited to attend the entombment at Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum following the private funeral service. Those who wish to attend are invited to arrive at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre located at 942 Great Northern Road for 11:15 a.m. and park in procession. Please remain in your vehicle upon arrival. The cemetery can accommodate up to 100 attendees. Memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Complex Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
