It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of a great father and grandfather on October 25, 2004 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Norma Hutchings of Blind River. Loving father of Peter Hutchings (Denise) of Blind River, Deborah Charron (Jake) of Ottawa, and Donna Jane Fera of Oakville. Dear grandfather of Karen, Melissa, Trista, Brent, Rebecca, and Jack. Brother of Bill of British Columbia, Eric, Ruth, and Molly all of St. John’s Newfoundland. Predeceased by sister Geraldine Roberts, and brother Leighton Hutchings. Resting at the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held Wednesday, October 27th, 2004 at 11 a.m. from St. Andrew’s United Church, Blind River. Interment Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Golden Birches Terrace would be greatly appreciated.
