Passed away peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice, with his family by his side on Friday, April 15, 2022 at the age of 73.
Peter leaves behind his beloved wife of 34 years, the “love of his life” Linda Hryhorchuk (nee Evoy). Loving father of Hilary DeLuca (Jason), James McKay (Marie-Claude) and Daniel McKay. Proud Grampa of Nolan, Dean and Rose-Marie. Son of the late Nick and Mary Hryhorchuk. Son-in-law of Ella-Rose Evoy and the late Bud Evoy. Dear brother of Louise Young (Wayne). Brother-in-law of Darla St. Amour (Robert) and predeceased by Janice McCausland (Graham), as well as a dear uncle to his nieces and nephews.
Peter was an avid fisherman and enjoyed his time up north with his good friend, Len Piccolo, and the Eton gang. He was a talented, skilled carpenter and woodworker. He built his own home and created many special projects for family and friends. After retiring from Sault Area Hospital he enjoyed golf with his Pickford Golf League buddies and will be missed by all who knew him.
