Suddenly on Thursday, March 18, 2004 at her residence at age 87. Lauretta, beloved wife of the late Michael P. of 61 years. Loving mother of Cindy and her husband Paul Tome. “Super Grandma” of Stephen and Liana. Dear sister of Claudette Murray and the late Floyd Fitzsimmons and Donald Fitzsimmons. She will be missed by her friends Doug and Rocky and her extended family in Sault Ste. Marie, Winnipeg and Brockville. She will always be remembered for her fun-loving attitude and words of wisdom. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, (north of Lawrence Avenue), Weston on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 22, 2004 at St. Philip Meri Roman Catholic Church (Jane Street at Beverly Hills Drive) at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
