Peacefully at the General Hospital on Saturday, May 15, 2004 at the age of 82, with her daughters Charlotte Cuthbertson and Sandy Hewitt by her side. Beloved wife of the late Alexander Hewitt. Loving mother of Catherine Bade (Dave), Carol Hayes (John), Frederick Zobel (Gabriel), the late Glenn (wife Ginger) and late Debbie Wardell (late Andrew). Mother-in-law of Cecil Cuthbertson. Cherished grandmother of 24 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Dear sister of George Spencer. Predeceased by her sister Willetta Womer (late Howard). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Peggy Lance and Dave Ladzenski. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Tuesday, May 18, 2004 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service from the chapel on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at 2 pm. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Lupus Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
