We regret to announce the passing of our father Duane John on Friday, March 1, 2019 at the age of 83.
Loving husband of the late June (nee Martin). Father of Dennis (Nancy), Daniel (Christine), and Jill-Ann Vermaire (Joe). Cherished grandpa of Bryan (Emily), Alexandra (Fabio), Brittany, Brandon, Alanah (Stephane), and Heather. Great grandpa of Liam, Anika, Lorenzo, and Luca. Predeceased by his parents William Theodore and Alice Ruby Hertz. Dear brother of Melba Halcrow (late Don). Brother-in-law of Frances Martin, Harvanna Wissell (Roy), Beverley Hunter (Don), and Maxine Dinelle (Pat). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1 pm with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Spring interment at Gordon Lake Cemetery.
