Peacefully at the Ontario Finnish Resthome on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the age of 98.
Beloved wife of the late Norman Chester Henderson. Daughter of the late Dan and Mabel Rout. Loving mother of Dennis (Sandi), Terry (Karen-Ann), Dan (Sue), Mark (Colleen) and Clive. Grandmother of Carolyn, D.J. (Michelle), Jennifer (Brad), Selina, James (Kim), Sam (Nora), Marsena (Scott), Solomon (Cassidy) and Jordan (Kendra). Great grandmother of Paige, William, Ari, Owen, Naiomi, Britton, Noble, Atticus, Veryn, Ivan, Bailey, Birdie, Goldie, Darius, Jedidiah, Bellamy, Grayson and Emma.
Vi proudly served her country as a WAC during World War 2. She was a founding member of the Sault Naturalist Club. Her love of nature was reflected in her porcelain paintings and drawings.
