Peacefully, at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice, on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the age of 89.
Mother of Terry Harris (Cleusa) and Chris Harris. Predeceased by her parents Authol and Dorothy Hunt. Sister of the late Carole Hare (late Donald) and Lorna Allen (John). Merla will be missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm. A funeral service will take place in the chapel at 1 pm with Rev. Martin Johnson officiating. Memorial contributions payable by cheque or online to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
