It is with heavy hearts that the family announces sudden but peaceful passing of John at the age 59. Loving son of Calvin and Jeanne Harris. Cherished brother of Ramona McKee (Pete), Mike Harris and Steve Harris. Step-son to William Vernelli. Much loved uncle to Craig and Thomas McKee. Nephew to Annette and Lawrence Landriault. Relative and friends to many others who will miss him. John will be fondly remembered for his carefree nature and never took life too seriously. In his spare time he enjoyed being in the outdoors where he was a avid biker, and fisherman. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East, 705-759-2522). As per the families request there will be no formal funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen would be greatly appreciated by the family.
