HANKINSON, Robert Warren 'Hank'

Surrounded by his family, he passed away peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at the age of 54. Today we say farewell to a good man. Rob was the high school sweetheart and loving husband of Kim for 35 years. Rob took great joy and pride in being the father of Tyler (Ashley) and Ryan (Sheena). In recent years, the light of his life were his grandchildren Emily and Drew. Rob is survived by his loving parents Norma and Fenn. Friend and brother of Janice (Brian Render), Alison (Steve Horbatuk) and Steve (Kim). Son-in-law of Marj Cowley (late Gerry) and brother-in-law of Todd (Jannie), Doug, Gerry (Joanne), Dale Godfrey (Paul) and Barry Rusnell (Betty). Special uncle of many nieces and nephews. Rob was a hardworking and respected employee of the Sault Area Hospital for over 35 years. He was active, refereeing men’s and women’s hockey and umpiring baseball and softball. Rob was a kind man who was loved by many and will be missed very much. He loved spending time with family and friends and especially enjoyed times at Horseshoe Bay. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, November 3, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 11 am.
