September 19, 1955 – July 13, 2024
We are heartbroken to announce the peaceful passing of Jean at NSHN-Blind River, age 68. Will be forever loved and missed by her husband of 51 years, Daniel. Loving mother of Daniel (Rachel) and grandma of Daniel and Radan. Sister of Marcella (Fred) and Emmett (Donna). Fondly remembered by her in-laws the Hamelin’s as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Emmett and Olga Abraham and her brothers Earl and Leonard.
Jean worked for the Red Cross as a PSW for over 30 years and enjoyed looking after her elderly patients. She had a great sense of humour and loved life. We will miss her deeply.
The family wishes to thank Amy and Jessica from Bayshore and the doctors and staff at NSHN-Blind River, HSN and SAH for their compassion and support. A special thank you to Denise Hamelin for your unwavering support of Jean and Daniel and going above and beyond during these difficult times.
Per Jean’s wishes there are no services. A celebration of Jean’s life will be held at a later date.
