It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Sara Guzzo-Foliaro on July 26, 2024 with her family by her side. 

Beloved wife to Aldo for 41 years. Daughter of the late Eduardo and Clara Cundari and daughter-in-law to the late Eugenio and Antonia Guzzo-Foliaro. Mother to Michael (Kate) and Matthew (Martina). Sister to the late Stanislao “Stan” Cundari (Maria). Sister-in-law to the late Mary Coccimiglio (Frank) and Gino Guzzo-Foliaro (Kathy). Special Nana to Mikayla, Benjamin and Myla. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews and relatives from Windsor and Italy. She will be greatly missed by many of her closest friends Dionisia Marson, Ida O’Hare and Sue Medaglia, she was a member of the Elettra Marconi Society she will also be missed by her weekly coffee crew Mary Paradiso, Gail Marziale, Donna Danichich, Elva O’Connor, Debbie Murphy, Silvana Amadio, Jackie Ball and Bonnie Richardson.

She enjoyed going to Greyhound Games and enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed singing in the Choir and reading a good book. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Curran and Nurse Carla in the I.C.U. a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Hill for the exceptional support and care he provided for Sara.
 
As per Sara’s request friends and family are invited to visit Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E., 705-759-2522) on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 6:00-9:00 pm. A funeral Mass will also be held at Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11:00 am, friends and family are invited to visit the funeral home from 10:00 am until time of service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
