Joseph passed away suddenly on Monday July 31st, 2023, at the age of 94 at his residence at Extendicare Mapleview. Loving partner of Bernice Emily Cole for over 50 years, predeceased by his wife Margaret. Father of James, Terrance, Michael, Paul, Deanna, and stepfather to Linda. Son of the late Paul Guindon and Emilia Tremblay. Brother of late Alfred, William, Rossare, Marie, Juliette, Janette, Virginia, and Sally. Brother-in-law of Ester, Elvina, Edna, Bob, Frank, Ronald, Patsey, and Doug. Grandfather of James, Joseph, Jonathan, Dylan, Ashley, Michaela, Olivia, Tim, Tammy, Terry, Owen, Kaily, Ryley, Logan, Dylyn, Jaclynn, Jake, and Jason.
Bingo Joe developed many long-time friendships at the Rankin Bingo Hall, the Casino, working for the City Board of Works and while residing at Extendicare Mapleview.
Cremation has taken place. A small ceremony with Father Jeff Shannon officiating will be held at O'Sullivan Funeral Home on Friday August 4th, 2023, at 1:00pm. Family and friends are invited to arrive at 12:30pm for light refreshments prior to the service. Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Sault Ste.
