Patricia "Pat" Griswold, a beloved mother, wife, sister, nana, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 8th, 2024, in Petoskey, Michigan. Born on March 18th, 1944, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Pat grew up with a deep love for animals, nature, and family. She spent many years working at a tree nursery before moving to the U.S., where she rode off with and later married Dick Griswold through their shared passion for horses.
After living in Indiana for several years, Pat and Dick retired to Michigan, where they enjoyed countless trail rides. Pat found joy in tending to the flowers around their Boyne City home but cherished nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Helen Milton, her siblings Richard Milton and Bernice “Bunny” Wing, her daughter Stacey Worthington, and her grandson Cole Worthington. Pat leaves behind her son Matt, his wife Erin, and their children Paige and Clark; her stepson Matt Griswold and his wife Jane; and her son-in-law Ken Worthington, along with his and Stacey’s son, Conner Worthington.
Pat will forever be remembered for her laughter, her mischievous spirit, and her adventurous heart. Special thanks go to her dear friend Carole Melvin, her "partner in crime," for sharing so many of those unforgettable moments.
Honoring Pat's wishes, she will be cremated, and a private remembrance with family and friends will take place.
Pat will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
