Peacefully passed away at Algoma Manor on Monday morning.
Beloved wife of the late Albano Gomes. Dearest Mother to Jose, the late Albino and Irene Gomes. Maria will be fondly remembered by her 10 siblings who reside in Canada, U.S.A., Portugal and France. She leaves behind her grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Maria loved music, dancing and having a good laugh. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Irene who was always by her parent’s side.
A special thank-you to all the staff at Algoma Manor and the Emergency Department at North Shore Health Network – Thessalon. The work you do is priceless.
Maria will be cremated and there will be no services.
