June 1st, 1934 - February 13th, 2025

The world lost the most incredible soul, but Heaven gained another Angel! We can only imagine the reunion up there, with the love of her life, John, patiently waiting for her. Surrounded by her family & very close family friends, Mom passed away knowing just how loved she was.

Lois had to be one of the most kind, gentle, loving individuals you could have ever met, truly a beautiful light! In saying this, it was her spicy, mischievous determination that kept her going for the last three years, beating all the odds, up until her final breath!

Lois is predeceased by her soulmate John. The two of them were attached at the hip, they took such incredible care of each other & loved each other so much. I’m sure right now, they’re having a cup of tea together, looking down on their favorite place in the world, Lonely Lake, where they spent all their time!

She was an amazing & loving Mom to her “Baby Boy” Bob (Marnie), he was the light of her life & she was so proud of him always! When I married into the family, she embraced me with open arms, she was the best Mother-In-Law / Mom I could’ve ever asked for & she will be truly missed!

Her love went to another level when her life was blessed with her Granddaughter Hailee. She was so proud of Hailee & all her accomplishments; she wasn’t afraid to brag about them & occasionally whip out some photos! Many nights at camp Lois & Hailee would play cards and do puzzles, they truly had a special bond!

Daughter of the late Allen & Clarice Trudeau, Sister to the late Clifford and Wilda Trudeau, Marjorie (late Gary) Nicholson, the late Fredrich and Laura Trudeau, Barbara (late Allen) Coutu, Pauline (late Ken) Mclean, Ronald (late Nancy) Trudeau, Sandra (late Jean) Ladouceur, Ken and Marrietta Trudeau, Richard and Cecile Trudeau. Loving Sister-in-Law to George and Rose Gill. Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Our family is so grateful for the amazing staff on Cedar Three, at the Davey Home. Lois lived there for two years, and the staff was so kind to her and treated her like family. Your support over the last few days made a very sad time a little easier for us, and for that we will be forever grateful! I can’t list everyone, but we truly want to thank you all!! Sandra, Mike, Tsitsi, Anne, Rubelyn, Mindy, Jaime and Bev just to name a few, much love!! XO Thank you so much to Dr. Apostle for being there for our little family over the last few years. You are so caring and compassionate, you will never know how much that means to us. Colleen & Steve, thank you for everything, Lois loved you guys like family & I'm sure felt more at peace with you both being there every step of the way!!

Any donations to the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated (payable online or by cheque).

John and Lois will be laid to rest in a private ceremony this summer, at their request.
