Peacefully passed away at the F.J. Davey Home on Saturday, September 30, 2017 in his 83rd year. Beloved partner of the late Marion Gauthier. Son of the late Agnes (nee Wynne), late David John “Jack” Gideon. Dear brother of the late Alice Ouellet (Florian), late Robert Gideon, late Mabel Black (Gordon), Jackie Fletcher (Doug) and June Markie (Fred). Sadly missed by his step-grandson Cory McLeod (Tonja Desjardins) and Jason Gauthier (Natalie) and his nieces and nephews, Ted Ouellet, Lorraine Wilson, Judy Wilson, Sharon Black, Dale Krobath, Joanne Black and Lorrie Black, Murray, Jeff, Mark and Greg Fletcher, Richard Stacey, Corey and Shawn Pine. Sadly missed by all his friends and staff at the Batchewana Bingo Hall and staff of the F.J. Davey Home. Friends may visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East, 705-759-2522) on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 5 – 7 pm and from 7 – 8 pm at the Indian Friendship Centre.
