GIBBS, Gerald Edward

Passed away suddenly at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, January, 24, 2014 at the age of 78.  Beloved hushand of Anneli for 51 years.  Loved father of Randy Gibbs, Sandra Devoe (Steve) and Jeff Gibbs (Laura).  Proud grandfather of Brittany and Stephen Devoe, Laurel and Leslie Gibbs and Cameron and Melanie Gibbs.  Dear brother of Fred and Audrey Gibbs, Gordon (late Margaret), Tom and Carolyn Gibbs.  Ann Clement (late Don) and Judy and Milosh Chytil.  Remembered by many nieces and nephews.  Jerry will be remembered by his family and friends for the free spirited life he lived, his special way to make everyone laugh, and the love he shared with everyone he knew.  We will miss you dad and will someday join you in many more games of Black Jack in the next passage of life.  There will be a come and go at the Legion on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 4 – 7 pm to celebrate Jerry’s life.  Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre 705-759-2522.  Expressions of sympathy may be offered at  www.arthurfuneralhome.com
