May 14, 2005 after a courageous five year battle; Jo Gareau at the age of 71 years.
Beloved wife of 52 years of Tony. Dear mother of; Raymond (Christine Pagnucco),
Larry, Ron (Cathy) and Michael (Danielle). Loving grandmother of; Hannah and
Camille, Mandy of Grand Cayman, Matthew and Nicole. Daughter of the late Assunta
and Armand Suriano. Sister of; Rose Deluco (late Ted) and Val Suriano (Jean). Aunt
of; Rick Deluco (Anne), David Suriano and Rob Suriano (Sheila). Special aunt of
Diana Deluco (David Crookston). Sister-in-law of; Laurette Vincelli (late Mario),
Marcel Gareau (Claire), Gertrude Gareau, late Jean-Denis Gareau (Adrienne), late
Lucille Drouin (late Gedeon) and the late Emilienne Bouffard (Jermain). Fondly
remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral
Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral and committal service in the Chapel on Thursday May 19, 2005 at 11:00 a.m.
with Reverend Norman Fortier officiating. Cremation will follow. Memorial
donations made to the Sault Area Hospital (Palliative Care Unit or Cancer Clinic)
would be appreciated by the family.
