Age 83, of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at ARCH Hospice with family by her side.

Only daughter of the late Harold and Thelma Greenwood. Loving wife of the late Frank Gardi. Beloved mother of Lisa Gardi of London, Ontario, Paul Gardi (the late Maria) of London, Ontario and Christopher Gardi (Shannon) of Grimsby, Ontario. Cherished grandmother of Anthony, Michael, Nicholas, Felicity and Everest. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Patti will be greatly missed by her "BFF" Ardys Fleming and lifelong friend Gayle Russell. Special thanks to her extensive network of close friends who supported and assisted her. Patti is also leaving behind her beloved pomeranian "Dolly".

Patti was a kind and generous person. She was a proud grandmother and cherished her family and friends. After 30 years of service she retired as the manager of the Sault Symphony Orchestra, spending countless, passionate and dedicated hours bringing the joy of music to many. Her pride and joy was the Sault Twirlettes and Drum Corps that she founded in the early 1960s and ran for many decades. For many years, she worked alongside her husband Frank producing the Bon-Soo Winter Carnival Pageant. Patti is the recipient of many awards and recognitions for her numerous contributions to our community. 

Her family are grateful to the numerous nurses and doctors on 3B at Sault Area Hospital and the incredible staff at ARCH Hospice for their tremendous care and compassion of Patti over the past several weeks.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral mass to be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 11 am at Precious Blood Cathedral Parish (778 Queen Street East) followed by a celebration of life at the Parish Hall. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East, 705-759-2522).
