Passed away peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home on August 8, 2023, in his 75th year with his brother Vince by his side. Loving father of Tyler (Opal) and grandfather to Khaleesi. Predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Ethel Fedeli. Loving brother of Conrad Gagnon (Barb), Marco Fedeli (Emily), Paula Pyette and Vince Fedeli (Pam). Predeceased by his brother Jackie Gagnon (Roni) and his sister Dolores Gore. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Special friend to Leo and Bonnie Grandbois.

Roger spent most of his life in Goulais Bay. His passion in his earlier years was commercial fishing working alongside the Mitchell family who he held very dear to his heart. His love for the outdoors was like no other. When he was not working countless overtime hours at Algoma Steel, you could find him in Goulais Bay splitting wood, hunting, fishing or just sitting with friends telling funny stories which he loved to do.

Roger was a kind and caring man who would help anyone in need and he will be missed by all who knew him.

A special thank you to the staff at the F. J. Davey Home for the exceptional care and compassion during his time there.

In keeping with Rogers wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at OSullivan Funeral Home on Friday August 11, 2023, from 11:00am-1:00pm (Upstairs).

Memorial donations in Roger’s memory may be made to the Goulais Fire and Rescue (Payable by cheque or online at www.goulaisfire.com).

Keep fishing Roger, we hope the fish are biting in heaven.
