Surrounded by her family after a long and courageous fight with cancer on Sunday, July 19, 2009 in the peaceful surroundings of the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH). Wife of Clarence. Daughter of Christine Behan (late George). Mother of Terry-Ann Hoffmann (Rudy), Shelley Coyne (Greg Bechard), Julie Currie (Larry), Warren Gabora and Karen Gabora. Grandmother of Liam and Ava. Dearest sister of Linda Derlacher (Helmut), Sandra Dockeray (Jim), Elain Kazadzis, Lina and Ron Rody and predeceased by sister Fay Taylor and brothers Orville Whitney and Terry Whitney. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Very special friend of Lois Jensen, Karen Kachan and Claude Paradis. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, July 23, 2009 from 11:30 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 pm. The Very Rev. I. L. Robertson officiating.
