September 16th, 1934, to February 10th, 2025

Predeceased by parents Wilson and Edith, a wonderful spouse of 60 years, Bob (2017), loving daughter Lori (1987) and her 9 siblings Fraser (Jean), Jack (Jessie), Bruce (Jo), Helen (Art), Frankie, Grace (Walt), Bill (Trudy), Kay (Ron), and Bob (Jean). Survived by son Scott and daughter-in-law Rosemary of Appleton Wisconsin, grandson Rob (Cortney) of Greendale Wisconsin and Calum of Appleton. Faithful friend and companion of Paul Webb.

An active life of socializing, sports and travel. A wonderful cook who loved to entertain. A dedicated bridge player for 70 plus years until very recently. Enjoyed great skiing holidays to BC, Quebec and Vermont. Wintered at Timber Pines in Springhill, Florida for 25 years as an avid walker, golfer, tennis player and pickleballer. Travelled extensively to 6 continents and over 40 countries. In 2017, she won the Cellcom 5km race for her age group. Was the last born and raised in Wilson Omand's house in Wellesley Ontario. She followed the family tradition as one of about 10 Omand's who delivered the Kitchener Record. Her deliveries took place during WWII while her brothers were stationed overseas.

Resided in Dundas, Ontario for 45 years, where she was a school secretary for 25 years. Lived in the Village by the Arboretum in Guelph, Ontario for 25 years. Will be dearly missed by wonderful family, friends and neighbors.

She experienced excellent health care with regular home visits from nurses, occupational therapists and doctors. The family would like to thank Dr. Will Ruddock, Dr. Robinson, Shannon Wood and oncologists at Guelph General Hospital.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday March 8, 2025, at Harcourt Memorial United Church (87 Dean Ave, Guelph), followed by a Celebration of Life at Reid Hall (33 Village Green Dr), in the Village by the Arboretum, Guelph, ON.
