Passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice. Born September 11,1923 in Hamilton, Ontario.
Predeceased by her husband Jim in 2014. Mother of Bill (Lennie) and Rob (Seana). Predeceased by her sister Daphne and brother-in-law Ken Miller, brother-in-law William Franz (Laddie), survived by her sister and best friend Jean and brother-in-law Gordon Cunningham. Grandmother of Natasha (Randy), Tyson (Tanya), Tanya (David), Emily (Marc), Michael (Amelia). Great grandmother of Gage, Ryley, Sarah, Evan, Zach, Kailen, Liam, Calyssa, Maizley. Loved aunt of Debbie Cornelius, Judy Fitzgerald, Ken Miller, Barb Lennox, Marabeth Sharp and Bruce Cunningham. Missed by many great nieces and nephews. Audrey was a long time member of Central United Church. She was retired from the Royal Bank Main Branch. Audrey was fortunate to have lived in her home for over 67 years. She was known for her sharp mind and her independence and it remained so until the end. Special thanks to her great niece Laura Stone and to the doctors and staff at the Sault Area Hospital and ARCH. Audrey’s niece Marabeth, granddaughter Tanya and great granddaughter Maizley were by her side almost daily right to the end which gave all great comfort.
