FORTIN, John

Peacefully and unexpectedly, with family at his side, on Saturday, April 24, 2004 at the General Hospital in his 80th year. Son of the late John and Harriet Fortin. Beloved brother of Mae Fox (late Luke), Sister Jeanne Fortin C.S.J., Catherine “Kay” Cleminson (late John) and predeceased by Dorothy Crawford (late Alex), Juliette Turmaine “Dimples” (late Raymond) and Veronica Twentyman (late Joseph). Loving father of John Fortin (Nid) of Brisbane, Australia, Dayle Doran (Chris) of Saint John, New Brunswick, Terrie Greco (late Ernie) of Toronto, Ontario, Mark Fortin (Ilene) of Toronto, Ontario, Lois Brooks (Don) of Moncton, New Brunswick and Chris Fortin of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Proud grandpa of Paul Greco of Ottawa, Ontario, Steven and Samuel Brooks of Moncton, New Brunswick, Ukit and Ken John Fortin of Brisbane, Australia. John will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. John was a life-long member of Kiwanis, respected for his many contributions to the community and will be sadly missed by his fellow Kiwanians. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Wednesday, April 28, 2004 from 6-9 pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated from our Lady of Good Counsel Church on Thursday, April 29, 2004 at 11 am. Rev. Roy McParland officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
