Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, September 1, 2017 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Link. Loving mother of Laura Hook (late John) and Penny Matte (Dan). Proud grandma of Amanda, Sherri, Donald and Erin. Great grandma of Miriam, Thomas and Gabriel. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Sister-in-law of the late Margie Isaacs (late Frank). Eleanor will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 3:00 pm. Interment at the New Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Elizabeth Fry Society (Sudbury) would be appreciated.
