It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 two weeks prior to her 96th birthday. She will be reunited with her husband Roland Faubert. She will be lovingly remembered by her only son Tim and his wife Lillian. Dearly missed by her granddaughters Sherri Rogers (Michael) and Stacey Verbonac (Eric). She cherished her three great grandchildren Lauren and Caden Rogers and Sam Verbonac. Daughter of the late Harry and Irene Stewart. Predeceased by all of her siblings Arthur Stewart (late Erma), Archie Stewart (late Doreen), Bill Stewart, Jean Young (late Norm) and Hazel McDougall (late Alex). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Thelma established long time friendships as a member of John Wesley United Church and the Ladies Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25. Friends are invited to Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel – (492 Wellington St. E. – 705-759-2522) on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 10:30 to 12:30 pm. Funeral and commital service in the chapel at 1 pm. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the SAH Foundation would be appreciated.
