Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of 55 years to Betty Fascina (nee Archambault).  Loving father of Tina Fascina, Kenneth Dickinson, Sharon (Jack) Marsh, the late Deb Nadon, Rick (Irene) Nadon and Lea Nadon. Special Grandfather of Stacey Icasia, Patrick Marsh and Francoise, Danielle Nadon. Son of the late Carmela and Guiseppe Fascina of Calaschibetta, Enna Sicily. Brother of Lidia Romano, Giovanni (Concetta) Fascina, the late Petrina Castagna (Guiseppe), the late Antonia (Paolo) Laporta, the late Angelo, Albert (Maria) Fascina, the late Carmelo (Assunta) Fascina, the late Michele (Jane) Fascina. Uncle to many nieces and nephews, special Zio to Robert Fascina.

Peter loved his family dearly and unconditionally. At a moments notice he was willing to help with anything that was asked of him. He now walks with Clancy and Leonelle, his fur babies. In his time of arriving in Sault Ste. Marie, he had worked as a logger, aside his brothers and then forged his way into the trades.  He was gifted in the trades and revered by his co-workers and fellow union brothers not only as a foreman but a trailblazer in the Sheet Metal and Iron Workers Union. He believed in solidarity and the movement of the unions.  He was also an entrepreneur who proudly owned Fascina Bros. Contracting. He had diverse knowledge in all areas of construction. He was a persistent man that made him a master of all his endeavors. He will be extremely missed,  his strong hands that always fixed the problem, his everlasting love for us and the countless memories he made with us will carry us forward. It's not goodbye, its until we meet again. Papa we love you!
