ESDALE, John (Jack)

John (Jack) Esdale passed away at the General Hospital on Saturday, March 1, 2003 at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of Vivyan (Bunny) for 50 years. Special father of Penny Allard. Special grampa of Michael Boston (Anna), Randy Boston (Melinda) and B.J. Boston. Great grandfather of Erica, Alyssa, Gregory, Matthew, Kathleen and Tyler. Brother of the late Arthur Esdale (late Martha), Gerald Esdale, Evelyn Weber, Anne Esdale, Elsie Phillips (late Blair), Isabel MacFarlane (Bruce), Marjorie Alexander (Larry) and Robert Esdale (Marguerite). Great uncle of Ron Phillips (Dianne). Family and friends will gather at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road, 945-7758) to celebrate the life of Jack on Monday, March 3, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bob Elkin officiating. Jack will be remembered for his wit and being a practical joker. Always remembered will be the daily 4 p.m. martini that Jack and Bunny shared and Jack's finishing off the day with a game of cards. Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
