Matthew Elliot passed away peacefully on May 15th, 2002 at the Great Northern Retirement Home. He was 88 years old. Beloved husband of Helen (neeTempleton) predeceased in 1989. Matthew was born in Scotland on February 3rd, 1914 and emigrated to Canada in 1970. Also predeceased by his infant son. Taylor in 1936 and his granddaughter Helen Ferguson in 1974 and three brothers and three sister. He is survived by three sons, two daughters, 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Matthew will be sadly missed by his family and close friends. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service celebrating his life will take place at Westminster Presbyterian Church on Saturday, June 8th at 2 pm. with Dr. James Gordon officiating.
