Passed away peacefully after a wonderful life and a recent hard fought battle with cancer on June 3, 2005, in her 92nd year. Teresa was very close and special to all of her family who loved her dearly, and by whom she will be missed. She enjoyed many years and times giving to and sharing pleasure with all of her family and friends and had a special relationship with each of them. Teresa is survived by a loving husband Arthur, her partner of 60 years. Loving and always caring mother to her two children, Peter (Karen) of Victoria, B.C and Maryann Cloutier (Gus) of Sault Ste. Marie. A testament to both her loving character and her strong sense of family, she is remembered fondly by her five grandchildren Catherine, Jillian, Jean-Paul (Sarah), Marc, and Andre, two sisters Dora Orlando (late Pan), Eda Mandolesi (Johnny) and late brother Vic Gardi (Elda) and her many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins. Teresa is predeceased by her parents Eugenio and Angelina Gardi, father-in-law Peter Dorazio and mother-in-law Maria, brothers and sisters-in-law Louie (Richetta), Fred (Venus), Tony Dorazio, Emma Di Gasparro (Tony), Filomena DiRocco (Jimmy). Friends may call at St. Anne's Room, Precious Blood Cathedral on Wednesday, June 8th, 2005 from 12 noon until time of mass at 1:00 p.m. Monsignor Bernard Burns officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to ARCH (Hospice) would be appreciated by the family.
