DOOL, Karan (K.S. Dool, AACI)-

On August 12th, at the age of 64, with family and
friends by his side, Karan relinquished his amazingly determined and tireless battle
with cancer while briefly in the palliative care unit at SAH. Dear son of Donna and
the late Sidney Dool. Loving and cherished father of Kerri Dool (Scott Nisbett) of
Sault Ste. Marie and Jayson Dool (Jennifer) of Fredricton. Proud Grampy of Nate,
Alex, Ben and Zack Dool of Fredricton. Much loved brother of the late Landys
Woolley. He will be missed by Dave, Jeff and Brian Woolley of Toronto. He will be
fondly remembered by his former wife and friend, Janet Dool, along with her family.
His canine pal Spencer will also miss his “dad.” Karan also leaves behind many
aunts, uncles and cousins. He was a respected appraiser in the real estate community
for many years. His enthusiasm and talent for his work will always be remembered.
Karan was a kind and gentle man who approached each day with a level of charisma a
nd wit that made us all smile. The family would like to send many thanks to the
Community Care Access Centre, the nurses at Bayshore (especially Marney Hunter and
Kim Timmerman) and Dr.’s Buener and Spadafora for helping Karan to fulfill his wish
to reside at home throughout his illness. We would also like to thank his dear
friends Theresa Woodcock, Dave Swan, Betty-Lou Caputo and Bob Berto for their
continued support and kindness during Karan’s illness. Friends may call at the
Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, August 16th, 2005 from 12 noon
until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.
Memorial donations to SAH Oncology Unit or the Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by
the family.
