It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rose Annette Donnelly, at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at the age of 84 years. Daughter of the late Annette and Robert William O’Brien. Loving wife of Leonard Donnelly for 67 years. Predeceased by her brother Robert O’Brien (Doreen) and her sister Doreen Reece (Ronald). Loved mother of Cindy Onofrio (John) of Sault Ste Marie, Michael Donnelly (Heather) of Alberta, and Cathy Donnelly (Jacques Beaudoin) of Hanmer. Loving grandmother of Jayson Onofrio (Amanda Conway), Tyler Onofrio (Trina), and Joshua Onofrio (Susanna), Jayme Donnelly (Jessie Caron), David Donnelly (Meghan), Katie Donnelly (Jake Greco), Meaghan Cousineau (Kevin), and Michaella Rivais (Nicholas). Loved great-grandmother of Nico, Lucah, Marco, Penelope and Nathaniel Onofrio, Jake, and Nicholas Donnelly, Asria Donnelly, Seth Skagen, Ryan Greco, Paetyn and Jack Cousineau, and baby Rivais whose great grandma tried so hard to hold on to meet. Also survived by her sisters-in-law Beatrice Donnelly and Kay Selecky. She was an aunt and great aunt to many.
A funeral mass will take place at St Kevin’s Church in Val Therese on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 11am with Rev C. Franklin officiating. Internment in Sault Ste Marie at a later date.
