DIDANIELI, Mario

Passed away peacefully at Van Daele Nursing Home on Friday, November 22, 2019. Mario was born September 24, 1927 Fiume Veneto Italy. He is survived by loving wife of 67 years Adriana (nee Santarossa), his children Marilyn Levesque (Philippe) and Joseph DiDanieli (Maria), and his grandchildren André Levesque, Julia and Emily DiDanieli. Son of the late Giuseppe and the late Dosolina. Brother of late Giovanni Tesolin (Norma), late Adeo (Albina) and the late Giordano (Silvana). Brother-in-law to late Mario Santarossa (Vanna), late Reduccio Santarossa (Giovanna), late Irenio Santarossa (Noemi), and the late Adriano Santarossa (Susie). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Mario enjoyed life and was quick to share a joke with all while socialising with many friends and relatives. Besides playing cards, crosswords and going to the casino he enjoyed the many social activities of the Friulan club of Sault Ste. Marie, that he was an original member of. Friends are family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Monday, November 25, 2019 from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 11:00 am. Fr. Trevor Scarfone officiating. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donation made to Van Daele Residents Program, ARCH or St. Gregory’s Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
