DESJARDINS, Armond

Armond went with the Creator with his wife by his side on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice at the age of 71.  Beloved husband of Linda (nee Campbell) for 51 years.  Loving father of Shelley Gonneville (Baby-Doll) and Fredrick Desjardins (Debbie). Cherished papa of David (Jackson) and Robert Tyler.  Special Godfather of Derick Boyer (Sheila) and Christal Thompson.  Survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  Predeceased by his parent Fredrick and Vera Desjardins.  Dear brother of Edna (Neil), Yvonne (Ron), Elaine (late Micky), Brenda (John), Marilyn (Brendon) and the late Charles.  Son-in-law of Betty Campbell and the late Ivan of Timmins, Ontario.  Brother-in-law of Dianna (late Dennis), Sharran (Terry), Wendy (late Maurice), Patsy (Rick), Wayne (Julie), Gwen (Marc) and Erwin (Patsy).  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  At Armond’s request there will be no visitation or service.  Memorial contributions in his memory can be made to ARCH or to the SAH Cancer Care Fund.  The family would like thank the staff at the Chemo Unit, Dr. Hill and Dr. Beuhner.
