Peacefully at home on Sunday, May 29, 2005 at the age of 79 years. Loving husband of 53 years to Pam. Beloved father of Elaine Foster (Michael), Larry (Lucy) and Rosalinde Vanbiesbrouck (John). Cherished Grampy of Mathew and Michelle Foster, Pamela and Danielle Day, Ian, Ben, Nick and Daniel Vanbiesbrouck and the late Phillip Day. Predeceased by his two sisters Eileen Jackson (Jack) and Joan Green (Arthur). Brother in law of Diane Payne (Bill). Uncle of Gary Payne and the late Andrea Payne. Also survived by his special aunt Eve Mann (late Gordon) and her daughter Carole. Art was the long-time owner of Dawson & Keenan Insurance Ltd., a past- president of the Downtown Rotary Club and past-master of the Keystone Lodge. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, June 2, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, June 3, 2005 at St. Luke’s Cathedral at 11 am. The Very Rev. Garry Dobinson and the Very Rev. Lawrence Robertson officiating. Interment St. Luke’s Cathedral Columbarium. Memorial contributions to the SAH Oncology Unit or the Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie would be appreciated by the family.

Members of the Masonic Lodge are requested to assemble at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, June 2, 2005 at 5:45 pm for a memorial service for the late Arthur Day.
