Donald "Donny" Davidson, born on September 15th, 1961, passed away on Monday, March 13th, 2023, at the age of 61. Donny was a loving husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Donny was the cherished son of Joyce and the late Richard Davidson. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 36 years, Robin Davidson, who will always remember him with love. Donny was the best dad to Tracey and Ken and the proudest papa to Raeanne and Drew. He was also a beloved brother to Donna (Jim), Ralph, Kathy, Leah (Norm), and Mike (Michelle) and was also a dear brother-in-law to Richard (Linda), Markie, Allan, Warren, and Ralph (Ann). Donny was predeceased by his brother, John.
Donny was an adored uncle and great uncle (GUD) to many nieces and nephews who will always hold him in their hearts.
Donny had a strong love of music and was always curious about who was singing the song playing. He also loved to cook, fish, camp, and hunt, and he had a special bond with his beloved dog, Beaker. Donny was known for his incredible ability to fix things and his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to Doctor Chooback and her staff for their kindness, compassion, and exceptional care provided to Donny.
Donny will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community. His kind heart, warm smile, infectious laughter, and passion for music will never be forgotten.
A celebration of Donny's life will be held on a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Dr. Douglas A. Macintosh Oncology Clinic at Belleville General Hospital or another charity of choice in Donny's memory.
