 Born November 27, 1931 in Lago, Cosenza Italy. Mafalda passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, March 2, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones. Loving wife of the late Settimio “Giacomino” for 41 years. Loved and adored mother of John (Lydia). Proud Nonna of Jake and Marina. Beloved and respected Step-mother (Zia) of Silvana Pileggi and Anna Maria Bruni (John). Grandmother of Isabella Kaminsky (Mitch), Joe Pileggi (Elizabeth), Franco Pileggi, Joe Bruni (Emily), Melissa Innis (Todd), Anthony Bruni (Amanda), and Amanda Bruni. Great Grandmother of Emma Kaminsky, Alyssa and Brianna Pileggi, Ava and Olivia Bruni, Hannah and Isabella Innis and Abigail Bruni. Daughter of the late Giuseppe and Nunzia Naccarato. Dear sister of the late Mario (Ortenzia), the late Elena Sacco (late Settimio), late Emma Iuliano (late Domenico), Lisa Scanga (late Mario), late Ercole (late Marianna), Anselmo (Emilia) of Germany and Rosetta Iuliano (Pasquale) of Ottawa. Daughter-in-law of the late Giovanni and Rosa Cuglietta. Predeceased by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Michele (Costantina), Lucillo (Cristina), Rosaria Pagliaro (Eugenio), Vittorio (Ida), Vincenzo (Ruth) and Carmela Cuglietta. Mafalda will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, especially cousin Yolanda Naccarato and niece Rosetta Bruni. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Gregory's Church (71 Estelle Street) on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 11:00 am with Father Daniele Muscolino officiating. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to Dr. M. Febbraro, Dr. M. Jenkins, Denise, Dr. F. Leung, Dr. M. Cheong, Dr. E. Schneider, Dr. I. Voutsadakis, Melanie, Dr. J. Reich, Dr. Alhasan, and Dr. K.
