Father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, surrounded by those who loved him.
Born to Hugh and Edith Crawford (predeceased), Wayne leaves behind his cherished partner and companion, Thérèse Guillemette, as well as his children: Natalie (Ed), Wayne Andrew (Pauline), John, Tony, and Jody. As well as those he loved as his children, Kathleen (Ryan) and Sarah-Jayne (Bryce) and his many grandchildren.
Wayne had a profound appreciation for nature and spent much of his life enjoying the great outdoors. His spirit will live on in the memories of family and friends who were touched by his kindness and love for life.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton and Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E, 705-59-2522). In accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral service. He will be laid to rest privately, honouring his preference for simplicity and the beauty of the natural world he so dearly loved.
